The Proper Way of Eating Razon's Halo-Halo
When eating halo-halo, do you consume the leche flan on top first or do you mix it with the rest of the ingredients? It's very tempting to eat the topping right away, isn't it? Razon's has provided a suggestion on the proper way of eating halo-halo and their philosophy behind it. I'll share with you in a moment :)

After we went on the Hot Air Balloon Fiesta in Clark, we had our lunch at Razon's in San Fernando, Pampanga. It's actually Raymond (or Raymund?) Razon's Halo-Halo, this is different from Razon's of Guagua which is abundant in Manila; although the owners are of the same family root.
Note: Don't be confused - On this post, "Raymond Razon's" refers to the Razon in San Fernando where we ate; while "Razon's of Guagua " is the chain abundant in Manila.
We ordered Sisig, Dinuguan and Pancit Luglug for the main course. Everything is average except for the sisig which is not as mataba (fatty) compare to its counterparts.

Raymond Razon's has cheaper prices than Razon's of Guagua. For example, halo-halo here is just 55 pesos versus 90 in Manila. With the taste, we have a consensus review that the Manila versions are better though. It's not that food here isn't good. It's just that the Manila chains are more standardized on food preparation resulting to more taste consistency.

SUGGESTION ON HOW TO EAT HALO HALO
Please mix well the Halo Halo to achieve the real and right taste of Razon's... If possible please don't eat the Leche Flan, mix it to the bottom first. The milk is correctly measured based on thorough research. There is a saying that it gets more luscious as it gets deeper. Thank you very much. We love you.

Totally dig the management's sentiments... Your taste buds get too overwhelmed with the all too sweet leche flan, ergo spoiling the rest of the experience. hehehe
But then again, I prefer it the Kring's way! Eat half of the leche flan then mix it all together.
