It’s More Fun in the Philippines

Label(s): , ; Posted By Ry

Finally, the awaited Tourism campaign has been launched today by the Department of Tourism to encourage foreign travelers in visiting the Philippines – It’s more fun in the Philippines! is the new international tourism slogan.

Compare to our neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, Philippines is actually one of the least favorite tourist destination. Now with the new slogan, it seeks to answer the question: “Why the Philippines?”

Compare to the previous “Pilipinas Kay Ganda” slogan, “It’s more fun in the Philippines” has received mostly positive feedbacks. It was even trending worldwide in Twitter a few moments after it was unveiled. My favorite is still the very simple “Wow Philippines” slogan but I must admit that I like how the new slogan looks. It’s colorful and has this appealing font style. The Philippine map in banig effect is also appreciated. The overall appeal of the slogan makes me realize how ma-fiesta (feasts) the Filipino culture is, and shows how masayahin (jolly) the Filipinos are despite all challenges in life :).

Other catching It’s More fun in the Philippines banners:

Commuting. More fun in the Philippines

Getting upstairs. More fun in the Philippines

Status updates. More fun in the Philippines
